the butter bag was born from the wisdom of my painting professor at university when he said: “if you really want to understand your subject, you need to paint it 50 times.”

This project is for you if:

• you are a beginner knitter wanting to boost your confidence

• you are a seasoned knitter with a bunch of random stash yarn and want to use it all up

• you want a fast project

• you need to make some gifts! ( fill one of these up with some chocolate and you have a beautiful present)

• you want to get bang for you buck from a pattern you will make again and again.

Materials:

• 8mm circular needles with short cable

• Yarn: You can use whatever fiber our quantity of strands to make gage. I used 3 strands of 8/6 cotton yarn. Use whatever you like! This is a great stash busting project.

• 4.5mm crochet hook

When I created this pattern I couldn’t stop making one after the other, after the other.
